Not your usual Super Bowl Treat

Ever find yourself pinning a bunch of things or saving them for later on your Facebook book feed? Do you go back to them later or are they just taking up space? I'm not going to lie, I do try most of what I pin. Well, I should clarify and say I try alot of what I pin that is food or craft related. These types of things energize me. The makeup and hair tutorials if I am being honest are just taking up space. They do give me hope that one day I will try them.

So anyway back to this not your usual Super Bowl treat, color me surprised when it popped up on my news feed yesterday as a memory and I realized I had never tried it. This super simple and delicious looking dessert spread. Now typically on Superbowl you will find some cake pops, soft pretzels, nachos and buffalo wings decorating my counters but since our favorite teams were not in the running and the hubby was out of town it seemed like a lot of work. I didn't want to go without anything special because we still needed a treat to go with our JLo super bowl half time show so it seemed like a great time to see just how delicious this recipe from Skip to My Lou was and let me tell you it did not disappoint. It was easy and delicious. I added a tad more vanilla than the recipe called for about a full teaspoon, because I love vanilla, but you could do it either way and I know it will be a hit. Serve with animal crackers or graham crackers for a family friendly treat in under 10 minutes. Total win.
